CHEF MARIO MATEO has arrived from MEXICO specifically to create a one of a kind luncheon, inspired by the tastes and bold flavours of this amazing country.
Taking guests on a true culinary journey inspired by the beauty and the flavours of Mexico.

CANAPES:
“Indita vestida” (zucchini flower filled with cheese and crispy amaranth with guajillo vinaigrette)
MAIN COURSE:
Alberta Beef with hibiscus mole and a salad of purslane, radish, fried chickpeas, tomato, and black beans.
DESSERT :
Mexican Chocolate cake with mezcal foam and assorted red fruits.

The Ambassador of Mexico will be hosting this event where we are celebrating the strong immigrant businesswomen in Ottawa who are making moves and opening up businesses and who are community building. These are the business owners who are scaling their businesses to great success!!

THE YMCA will be showcasing their Newcomer Information Centre (NIC), they provide valuable information and referrals on immigration and citizenship, employment, education, health, housing, and much more, completely free of charge.
