THE MENU FOR THE POWER LUNCH is 100% Canadian!
Celebrate with Executive Guest Chefs from Portage Restaurant featuring Fogo Island Cod—caught by local fishermen, not large corporate trawlers.
Executive Chefs Nelson Borges and Kenton Leier of the National Arts Centre will host, alongside Executive Guest Chefs Celeste Mah and Ross Larkin:
• Blackened Garlic Wedge Caesar Salad
Maple lardons, panko crumble, shaved parmesan
• Steamed Fogo Island Cod with Brown Butter Picatta Sauce
Scented jasmine rice and fondant root vegetables
• Partridgeberry Eton Mess
Crushed meringue, roasted white chocolate
THE POWER LUNCH is an incredible opportunity to hear business journeys from local Canadian women who are making economic history. They are scaling, collaborating, and growing stronger and bigger.
Hosted by the award-winning CEO of Humane Canada, Barb Cartwright.
Barb has worked with Jane Goodall and many other activists, leading significant changes for animal rights. She is well known on Parliament Hill for her passionate dedication and also loves Newfoundland—big time.
