CALL BETTY! Is a local marketing and event firm which harnesses the attention and energy of women entrepreneurs in leading businesses in the City of Ottawa. Events are always sold out, community driven, bringing solutions to much needed problems through the support of a 20,000 member based group filled with CEO’s, start-ups, entrepreneurs and developers. Our focus is on stimulating the economy and social responsibility which includes supporting numerous local and non-local organizations.

CALL BETTY! creates events/movements that are revolutionary which garner traction and attention. Our WATERFRONT SERIES of workshops, which is focused directly on women who own businesses, is always sold out and features highly accredited business leaders as hands on teachers.
CALL BETTY! successfully created a movement for Ottawa General Hospital called DO THE BLUE to raise awareness for self-care and mental health for women.
LADIES WHO PAINT, the brain child of CALL BETTY!, brought together 65 artists whose art now enhances the walls of Ottawa General Hospital and Hospice
CALL BETTY! created a shopping platform for goods and services for women owned businesses, which is an online and print format called SHE SHOPS LOCAL. Partnered with the Ottawa Business Journal on this first time ever resource, we are currently working on the holiday edition as demand has exceeded our expectations.
CALL BETTY! created the first ever MARKET U, which occurs live, on a university campus - bringing together locally owned businesses which enhance the student lifestyle and introducing them to students/staff.
MARKET U has caught the attention of the University of Australia, Toronto and Montreal.
CALL BETTY! developed SHOWSTOPPERS which is an event and group supported by hundreds of women in business who create/make goods. Hosting sold out events where the community can participate and shop. These events are in high demand.
Additionally, the BYWARD BARKET, a hugely successful event, was created to increase foot and paw traffic for local merchants.
Our community footprint is always based on supporting, both financially and promotionally, #LOCAL organizations such as The Ottawa Food Bank, Interval House, CHEO, School Breakfast Programs, World Changing Kids, Truth and Reconciliation, House of PainT, and many, many more.
The Bannock Bus, a direct service for bringing goods, food and supplies to homeless Indigenous people throughout the City of Ottawa, is one of the much-needed organizations we raise money for.
For the past 11 years CALL BETTY! has promoted TAKE A VETERAN TO DINNER, an event which honours our veterans. We have been asked to direct this event next year.
CALL BETTY! Has a huge social media platform comprised of 21 groups on Facebook under the title of LADIES WHO LUNCH with various sub-categories and all are women in business.
We have over 34,000 members in these various groups. Our twitter group consists of 3500+.
